When printing on canvas there are a number of different options you might wish to consider.
Do you want to put your print on a stretcher frame?
If so remember that you you might lose part of the image to the sides if you want a gallery wrap. A gallery wrap is when the image is wrapped around the frame. This causes part of the image to be on the sides of the frame. Plan to lose 1 to 2 inches per side. You can either enlarge the print slightly for aesthetic reasons or to ensure no critical detail is lost to the sides or just leave it as is.
If you want to have a white border wrap or a black border wrap (or any other color for that matter) then your entire image will be viewable on the face of the frame.
Another option would be to mirror the border. That is, say there is 1.5" on the side of the stretcher frame. We can mirror the last 1.5" around the print that will fit on the side of the frame when wrapped.
Please let us know whether you want a white border or a black border or a mirrored border placed around your image in the comments/instructions box on the order form. |
